Mexicali trio delivers amazing cover of Adele’s ‘Rolling in the Deep’
TIJUANA.-“Vásquez Sounds” is a trio of siblings from Mexicali who have caused a deep commotion on YouTube with their interpretation of the popular
tune by Adele “Rolling in The Deep.”
“We’re siblings doing what we like to do,” the trio says in the video they posted on YouTube on Thursday.
Four days later the siblings have more than 52,000 “likes” -- and counting.
They are ten-year-old, Angie, the vocalist, and her brothers Gustavo, on drums, and Abelardo, on guitar and piano. The video has become a worldwide
sensation.
In one newscast in Spain, the anchor introduces the video by saying that “this ten-year-old’s voice could tame wild beasts.”
Became YouTube sensation with ‘Rolling in the Deep’

TIJUANA – A month after three unknown Mexicali siblings posted their musical video of Adele’s hit “Rolling in the Deep” on the Internet, they have
signed with Sony Music and appear to be recording in San Diego County.
The video, published on Nov. 10, has nearly 12 million visits on YouTube as fans in Mexico, the United States and Europe share it through social
media.
The video made instant celebrities of the three Vázquez siblings -- Abelardo, 15, who plays piano and guitar; drummer Gustavo, 13; and Ángela, whose
powerful voice belies her ten years of age.
The new celebrities, who go by the name of Vazquez Sounds, have music in their blood. Their father, Abelardo Vázquez, is a prominent arranger and
producer who “discovered” the Mexican pop band Reik and rock group Nikki Clan and signed them to Sony Music.
In the days after his kids’ video became a YouTube sensation, Vázquez insisted that they would focus on school, only posting one new video a month.
It appears that school will have to wait, at least for a while.
Last weekend, the giant Televisa network presented them at the end of their annual telethon, seen by millions across Mexico and in the United States.
Then Sony Music announced that it had signed the trio to a recording contract.
“Sonymusicmexico will take our music to the whole world. We’ll take care of the rest,” the siblings wrote on their Twitter account @VazquezSounds.
In other postings they said they were recording in San Diego County, though offered no details. They may be working locally with Kiko Cibrian, who has
collaborated with their father in producing Reik and Latin American superstar Luis Miguel.

Big mistake. They should not have released that. The little girl is too far out of tune. This will hurt them. That song needed more work.
Sounds to me like with her or thier Talent and their family connections they cant do no wrong + that little girl has a fantastic voice.
