Photos of monsters in Mexico City

While we were on vacation in DF last week, we stopped and enjoyed a rainy afternoon on the esplanade of the palacio nacional where the Alebrijes (monsters) from the halloween parade were on display. There were over 200 in all, but as it got darker, the rain fell harder, so we only captured 31 on disc.

I'd love to see some monsters, Breadguy, but can't open this page; perhaps its because it links direct to your Facebook which may not be open for public view.

Have you any other photos of The City Big?

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

The Monsters are Great! You can buy similar, much smaller hand painted "Monsters" in Oaxaca for cheap. I have several that I bought there. The artists take a piece of wood, sculpt and paint. The same artist pieces on sale here in Ensenada are priced about 100% above what you can buy them for down south and I have seen them at a store in Laguna Beach for as much as a 500% mark up. These are great B-day or Christmas gifts.
