Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

5.2

Good guesses by all. Hope all is OK. This posts reminds me of a seen in L. A. Story with Steve Martin when they are all around a dinner table
casually guessing at the strength of an earthquake.

The 5.2 was centered 1/2 way between Mulege and Loreto in the middle of the peninsula

Very near Comondu Viejo from the looks on those maps... that's about halfway between Bahia Concepcion and San Jose Comondu.

EDIT: USGS maps show it further south, and directly west of Loreto. I hope there wasn't any damage to Mision San Javier.

Report from Mulege:

Just spoke with family member in town, north river road hillside home.

They did not feel an earthquake this morning. No idea. Will check back this evening.

It looks like it was centered very close to Comondu and to San Javier. As we left the festival up there yesterday afternoon there were more people
going up than coming down. I hope everything is OK up there-- I'll be hearing from people who spent last night later this afternoon.
