Eagle Personality

See how regal I am

What is going on?

Just what do you want!

One Eagle who is still at the Tule National Wildlife Refuge. Most of the water is frozen at this time so the Eagles are picking off coots who are still there!

Thanks for the comments. I just did a quick crop on these and they need some work, but I was really happy he let me get so close---I very slowly walked under the pole. The other eagles around were not so cooperative.

And I also love birds of prey---they are just so majestic looking.

Capturing both eyes in a bird of prey shot is a feat! Congrats!

I was really happy to get both eyes! My exposure was not I wanted --- I was in too big of a hurry as I was sure he was going to take off! Not sure if I can get some of those blown highlights back, but I am going to try.
