those guys wear floatation vests in the hopes that they will surface someday after they bounce off the reef and drown. the water is about 5 feet deep where they are falling. notice the water sucking off the reef and running downhill into the face of the waves?

it doesn't get any heavier.

That place is damn good and still pretty unknown. Best on a mid tide going high, eAst south east swell. Approach from the north is tough.
