House for Sale in Bahia Asuncion...price dropped to $25,000

It is with great sadness we say hasta pronto to one of Asuncion's resident amigos. Due to health issues, he is back NOB and needing to sell his casita.

For those of you who know the area, this house is next to Casa Pargo behind Campo Sirena so it has a great ocean view, half a block from the beach so the windows do rattle in a big swell! a few steps to great shore fishing, kayak launching, swimming etc.

It has a fideicomiso, clear municipal title (not a lease, not ejido land) and is on a nice 652.6 square meter lot.

The house is a fixer upper, but liveable as is for sure. It has a bedroom, full bathroom, kitchen and garage. It is built at the extreme back of the lot and the plan was to build a front addition to add a living room/dining room. There is also a wall already built on one side. It has great potential for gardens and to be a wonderful home. It has power, water, septic, phone and internet and is central in the village.

the seller lived here for several years and did not buy it as a spec house...he just wants to make back what he put into it.

U2U me for more info por favor.

Happier times at Campo Timo

I understand that John (standing) is also struggling with health issues. I wish them both well.

We very much miss not having him around!

However, now we wish him the best of luck in selling his property.

In all honesty Blanca, when the campground is full, the view and the ambiance are altered. Given the choice of a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, I'd move right in.

Tim and Barb know how to entertain! I think we kept that campfire party going for months. The house is a well built house and would not take much to make it homey. Kev was just no Martha Stewart.

Yes, a very congenial New Years campfire. Here's our host who taught me to catch Boca Dulces. Timo1

Our amigo bought this house at the same time that we were looking for property and we congratulated (read: cursed) him for scooping us on it. As Shari says, there's lots of potential to develop, but as it is, it would be great for someone looking for a vacation/fish camp set-up. The garage would provide locked storage for lots of junk (read: fishing gear, kayak, atv, boogie boards, dive gear...) Nan

well, we sold the little 2 bedroom house we called the COPA CABANA last week. I didn't even have time to post that it was for sale here ... a first time visitor to La Bocana jumped on it the same day we annnounced it to the community and he is now the proud owner of a beautiful house - it sold for $30,000 too.

and we bought the house up the street from ours - unfinished kitchen and spectacular view of the ocean....our house will remain B&B and the new house will be our private residence !!!

Isn't that house the one that you had that was "pet friendly?"

Sorry for the minor hijack, but it is also a bump for the thread --- :-)
