Just tried to check what for sale on the Tienda and it doesn't load.
Is it closed or is it just my browser ?

It was on a list of things for him to do... Doug doesn't realize he has a potential gold mine where he could sell Baja Nomad shirts, hats, stickers... as well as other Baja stuff. Tire pumps, camping gear, satellite phones, hot sauce, maps, books... yadda yadda yadda...

Maybe Doug would lease the store to someone with more time on their hands. :light:

What is the Tienda?

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

It is the Baja Nomad store (tienda) with a link at the top of Nomad... Doug had used it to sell the Baja Nomad tee shirts a few years ago... He also sold a tire pump and a couple other items, along with the bumper stickers.

Doug, maybe put an invisible counter and see what kind of traffic you get. i'm sure there are others who would give you a % to sell stuff here if you agreed. just a thought.

it bugged me...

I was thinking ......what is the definition of Tienda, after posting my comment earlier?

Ti`en´da
n. 1. In Cuba, Mexico, etc., a booth, stall, or shop where merchandise is sold.

Oh oh oh!
Well.....I dont read or speak foreign languages much...because my hearing isnt good. So......if I saw the words.....internet store or something like that .....up above, I would have taken notice. Perhaps I am not the only guy in town that is poor in foreign languages.

Just a friendly thought.

It is on the very next line above the Baja Bound add with the Land Rover that moves, left side. On the right side is BajaNomad Chat.

Ok, so everyone has experience the "Phantom" store. I thought it was just me who couldn't get in because I'm a newbie. Doug, you better open something up. It seems like you already have many potential buyers :tumble:

Hey...Woody. It ain't the money....it's the exposure, and Doug has plenty of both. Didja ever see his Baja rig? It has twenty wheels.

Jes kiddin' about that, but maybe DK could incorporate Doug's doodads into his store. I mean....who, these days, doesn't want a BajaNomad sticker to go along with their GOT BAJA sticker on their ride?
