Hi everyone!

I am a newbie. Davidk invited me to join this forum so I did. I have been coming(notice i said coming; I live here) to Baja since the mid 80's and could never get enough of it. In 1996 my husband and I bought a lot outside of San Jose del Cabo and built our home. In 2000 we left the Bay Area(we laughingly call it the gray area now) and moved down here permanantly. For two years we sat on our porch and got into the manana spirit. After our batteries were recharged we took off for 2 years of traveling the peninsula. It seemed that all the people we met on the road were looking for any information they could find on Baja so we decided that we would go into the book and map business.
So now I find myself in the book business in Baja and getting ready to hit the road again. We are leaving Sunday for points unknown (but definitely north) in our book mobile....1986 Ford with camper. We will be stopping along the way in places that had expressed interest in having a new book resource and camping in places that we have not yet visited. I am stoked. So if any of you are on the road and see my rig with Baja Books and Maps signs on the doors flag us down. I already owe David a cold one and I can pretty much guarantee that there will be a cold one for you tool. You might even find a new Baja book for you library.
Cheers
Salud!

Thanks Tim. I plan to keep everyone up to date on our travels whenever I can find an internet cafe. I actually prefer places without internet cafes so they may be few and far between.
Hasta
