The pig expired some time ago... He was a family pet and my kids enjoyed visiting with him back some 10-12 years ago.

I thought the motel got a new owner... no renovations yet?

strip closed

The strip is closed with logs for a temporary closure. The military usually trenches the strip for permanent closure. Our resident DC3 owner (Rogelio) leases our strip and tells us the paperwork is "in progress". No idea when the military will receive the processed paperwork and reopen the strip. We emailed Baja Bush Pilots about the strip closing and will do so again when the strip is reopened.

Hi Paulina, thanks for the link... it is more recent activity than the blog... However, the last post was over a year ago. Are you going to be in Bahia this summer?

David,

The last post I see on the forum was "no problem", July 5, 2012. Are we looking at the same page?

Yes, we'll be in Bahia at some point this summer, not sure when as we are in the process of moving.

Weird forum, yes I just looked at the top post (which is typically the most recent, and it was July 1, 2011...) but, below are newer 2012 posts, thanks!
