I guess I should read the BN Board Rules

I noticed that my previous post was quickly swept off to Off Topics by someone ! Did not know that a comment from the BBC news was off limits here and that a sensitive issue such as what a certain political said ( can't say his name because this will also be thrown to the curb quickly ) is taboo for discussions.
Hummmm, freedom of speech, hey :P

I read your post this morning and I couldn't figure why you didn't place it in off topic yourself to begin with.

I don't believe Freedom of Speech was ever
intended to be automatically
protected here, it is Doug's perogative. I just
hope SARCASIM doesn't make the prohibited list

Hook,
There is an implied question or two:
1) Why was it moved/removed?
2) Who made the change?
3) What was wrong/inappropriate about the post?

1. Had nothing to do with Baja yet posted in Baja Discussions section
2. Let's see probably the moderator of the Board
3. See answer to question 1.

Maybe we should trying using one syllable words in the future....

Didn't know this forum had such strict rules. Some of you need to chill.

what i have noticed

you have posed a good question PUCKDROP . your perspective may be a bit tounge-n-cheek but you underscore a valid point.

what i have noticed ( my personal opinion of course ) is that.....

hi-jacking a post is ok

that adding additional non related information to a post is ok

that chatting with others and leaving messages for others in someone's post is ok

that after just noticing someone you have bantered with before had just left a note in a post and then re-engaging that previous non related argument in someone's post is ok

this list could go on for a while.......

so, PUCKDROP, my suggestion is that you stop starting posts/threads,,, and just go with the flow....

I thought the answers too obvious to consider......................:smug:

Hey John...
this post may get you banned!

(I don't know if you have ever seen a banned poster's name), it's pretty embarrassing!

I wouldn't worry about it, anything to do with American politics is automatically moved to OT. That's just the way it is...

Off-Topic is an extra platform where topics that are other than Baja-related can be addressed. That why your post was moved, I believe; nothing more. Off-Topic isn't just for nastiness and mud-slingling; its the appropriate place for your timely thread.

When it first happened to me, I was upset. After all we are expats that are still concerned with American politics, American issues, etc. even though we are living in Baja. But once I got passed the fact that it was nothing personal, I go over there anytime I want to take a walk on the wild side!!:O
