Surf Lessons at Los Choros (Asuncion)

After a few days learning to duck dive, sit on the board, put his head under and stand up on the board, Izaak was ready for the big stuff at the local surf beach Los Choros. He was fearless and didnt want to come in.

He's got the paddling thing down now

watch for the next wave dude

He hasn't quite got the shaka...surfers salute down yet...it was more like the Vulcan salute...hahaha

It is amazing what a not yet two year old is capable of!

Sirena then got some practice time in too

and here is David waiting for a bigger wave!

times like this just melt a grandma's heart eh! ahhhhh baja

Hope we will see some of those waves when we come down in December.

Excellent photos, Shari, plus great transition to B&W!

there WILL be waves in December Udo....our local surf club Los Jurjos hosts a surf tournament at Pig Beach around Christmas that you can attend.

MMc...gracias...it's nice to take time to enjoy baja life and take a few hours off work now and again....every day...jejejeje

Today we swam at Secret Cove, played with anenomes and fed the fishies in the tide pools...then the gals took another dip again before sunset at the Blowhole....here is my neice and her amigas cooling off too....wonder what beach we'll hit tomorrow?
