Baja book collectors, question for you

I picked up a couple books and magazines today and am wondering if the price I paid was fair. What do you think?

1) hardback, Glory of Baja $10

2) Adventures In Baja, softcover, by Mike McMahan, 1973, $6

3) Baja California Mexico by Cliff Cross, 1970-71 edition $12, perfect condition

4) $.50 each: Baja Explorer magazines, 9 of them: Jan-feb 1992; Nov-Dec 1992; Sept-Oct 1991; July-Aug 1992; Sept-Oct 1992; winter 1990; Nov-Dec 1991; winter 1988; Mar-Apr 1992.

Please let me know what you think.
Thanks.

WELL DONE Suzanne!

The Baja Explorer Mags are a great source for travel ideas. They are worth at least $5 ... I'll give you a buck fifty each  hey you tripple your money! I think I have most of them, actually.

Start reading Mike McMahan's book right away... That paperback was actually produced in 1983 (check the date again)... It is a redo of his 1973 hardback book 'There It Is: Baja!' One of the best reading info. Baja books there is.

The Cliff Cross book is great for refering back to the pre-pavement days with his hundreds of photos and cool "bird's eye view" style maps.

Is the 'Glory of Baja' the coffee table book of photos? I don't have that one. Please give me more details on it.

Anyway, welcome to the club! Be careful of Neal with your books and your Hummer! LOL

David is right. Mike McMahan's book is great reading. If anyone who reads it doesn't want to jump into their car, truck, RV, plane or MC and head to Baja they're a lost cause and will never understand the magnetism of a great Lady.
