Going UP...second floor...Lingerie with a view!

It is very exciting watching the 2nd floor of La Bufadora Inn take shape. Today we finalized where the windows will go...it's mostly windows to take advantage of the spectacular view of both the sunrise, sunset and wide open Pacific.

Over time, that pile of laja rock will transform into a lovely patio....poco a poco

The other project we are slowly working on is this new superpanga for next season so we can go further offshore in search for tuna...and take more people on board like families. She is taking shape and will be a sweet ride.

I'm amazed by what you and Juan have accomplished in the short years since I housesat for you Semana Santa '07. The footings for the rock rooms were in but that was all. You have done a tremendous job and I look forward to seeing it all on my next (overdue) visit.

I am so happy for you and Juan to have the energy, ability and reward of this expansion of your 'Inn'! We so enjoyed the nights we spent in the Rock Room last July!

Wow, you two have really done quite a lot of work since Audrey and I visitied. We're just trying to figure out exactly where your expansion is located... Are you building out toward the blowhole side?

I'm sure the views will be spectacular!!

Yes Bob, you are far overdue for another visit! Here is a photo that will give you the idea...our new rooms are out towards the blowhole and we are rock walling in the whole property for more privacy.

You can see the hand rail around the upstairs patio on this photo..I'm gonna take more tomorrow when the swell goes up to 11'!!!! wooo hoooo

You had me at ...Lingerie

Your pics remind me of the guided tour of the town, the surf spot, Stan's cove and the co-op. The vigilancia edificio was pretty cool as well.

WOW!!! Looks great, Shari...Probably be back over there during the summer months and trying to get Archie to bring his Camper as well. He didn't get out much this last summer but enjoyed it in Asuncion...I want to spend more time on the Pacific this summer rather than go back to the states...Much safer here!!!!
