Someday my cat will eat watermelon.

algún día mi gato comerá sandía

Just wanted to share this 'saying' a Mexican friend taught me today meaning 'maybe someday...', like when pigs fly.

(PS: My old cat did eat watermelon. But I still like the saying.)

I asked my friend about that dicho or saying and he says that in our area the popular way to say that is. "Quando mi perro puede hablar en Ingles". Or when my dog can talk in English.
