Am I mistaken?
I only noticed beer/wine listed only once....
Reminds me of a trip I took years ago...
Lost my cork screw and had to live on food and water alone!!!!

Great Mike

That's all very helpful.

I suppose what I really should have mentioned was that I was looking for the Automotive Gear list.

However, the other lists will give me a good last minute "check it out" too.

Thanks

Some additions to the list

Friskie,

That's a very comprehensive list, although I didn't see Duct Tape on the list or a headlamp.
Flashlight is a must, but a headlamp such as the $15 ones from Canadian Tire are always real handy while camping. Hands free light source.

My dearly departed buddie Spyder had it down to the essentials on his 1970's surf trips to parts unknown. His list:

Board, shorts, wax,
Hat, cash, stash.

No b-tchin\' in the Baja.

Randy....my favorite other Canuck

Yah, those headlamps are terrific and Duct tape is a must.

Also it may be a good idea to carry a passport, spare keys for the vehicle, WD 40, siphon hose, pieces of carpet to help get unstuck, a 8"x8" piece of wood or two to set your car jack on in the sand, extra wood to help level up your vehicle on the beach, and some wire.

I like to bring a pipe and pipe tobacco. I love the cigars but can't afford 'em all the time.

Small Weber gas BBQ. I like to cook those oversized piernas de pollo. They sure are economical. I have heard that they are from the U.S. but cannot be sold in the U.S. due to the high amounts of growth hormones.

I like a small electric light to read by. A small DC fluorescent marine lamp connected to a cigarette lighter plug with a long cord works great.

Telescope if I have room.

Jiffy Pop

Cards / Uno

Small solar charger - plugs in cigarette lighter plug
