Grunion Run in the daytime at San Felipe, You Tube from Wayno, BB Bait
Thanks to Wayno for emailing this link to me to share to all of you!
Unlike the Pacific Coast, where grunion run (lay & fertilize their eggs) in the middle of the night at the highest lunar tide, the Gulf of
California grunion 'do in' the daylight!

Yes, you saw what you saw at the end of the video when the camera swings around to the Malecon. That IS the new 7/11 being built that will be taking
over the old Beachcomer spot.
Fishing just before the run while they are staging, during the run and after the run while they are still hanging around which can be a couple of days.
Just pin one on with a light split shot sinker, hook size depends on the size of the gunion, distance is not to important because they
will follow them in close and hang on
A Kastmaster green/chrome will work great also, these runs are not to be missed!!

Anyone can catch fish in a boat but only \"El Pescador Grande\" can get them from the beach.
I hope when my time comes the old man will let me bring my rod and the water will be warm and clear.
Tyson enjoying the Grunion Run a couple of years ago. They were on the Beaches North and South of us (Playa Hermosa/Bahia Santa Maria, San Felipe) as
far as the eye could see that day...
