Need a good north San Felipe campo suggestion.
I need a North San Felipe Campo suggestion. I have never tried the north campos. We usually go to Percebu or Gonzaga but this trip will be short.
Showers and Toilets a must for some in our group. 
I searched here and Pete's Camp and Campo Pescador came up as possibilities. Campo Pescadpr seemed more remote and quiet compared to Pete's Camp.
What's the status of Campo Pescador? Is it still nice? Cost? Any info would be appreciated.

Camp Pescadora
Our favorite place 50 amp hook up water No sewer hookup but they have a dump station. nice clean showers .store with wifi price usually around 25 dls.
Beautiful clean beach. never too crowded unless its a holiday.

if my memory serves me right wouldn't that be south and not north on the main drag,, and the main drag? might be several of them, the one coming into
town or the other one that runs north and south, past the El Cortez, or am I way off?

I read some posts that Campo Pescadora is the next camp south of Playa Blanca just before Punta San Felipe. Is this correct?

It feels like west to me it's the street that goes by the commercial distric and on past George's Cafe and Hotel out by the big Sand Dune.
Heck I guess I will have to get David K to draw a MAP.

I 2nd that... Pete's Camp is a nice place to be. Nice restaurant/bar there too. It's been a while since we have stayed there, but always had fun
camping at Pete's.

I believe some are referring to Club Pesca, not Campo
Peacador, Club Pesca is, as posted at the so. end of
SF proper, 1 blk so. of the Cortez Motel, I believe
there is a Campo Pescador no. of town

Pete's camp is great.....if you are not there on the week ends. Hot showers Banos restaurant and a little hut bar. Campsites are extreme
close to each other.....you be okay if you dont roll over in your sleep...you may have a "NEW" hubby :-)
Campo Pescador or Campos Pescardo? Campos Pescardo has a chain across the entrance....a little occupied trailer with the host to take your five bucks
to get in. The site is right up at the first mountain before town.....across the street where the flatbed truck sells bricks. I can google Earth it
for your tonight. A shower and a banos 9ask ahead of time if these are still in-tacked). Primitive. NOT the holiday Inn.
Sure the best kept secret of San Felipe!!!!!!! Views to kill for. A Canyon that looks like the Grand canyon. Hiking. Fishing....blah blah blah. There
is a steep cliff......this place is NOT for a three year to be wondering around.
I am not impress with any other campsite North of San Felipe.

the name of it! It's not Shell Island...it's........David?

Yes. Please google earth it for me. I looked on GE and didn't see any palapas on the beach where I think it is. Thx.

No palapas......take a tarp and you will be a happy camper. I be REAL surprised if anyone is there :-) It's clean and it's a gem. Take firewood.
Great place to blow fireworks too. There are NO homes nearby :-)

Next south......would be a private area. There are several homes there......rarely occupied. Then it's the mountain. If you are looking at Crystal
Cove which is a cove in the mid section of the mountain.......that is private property.....that was once a very swanky camp. The guard MAY let you in
for a ten bill.......................no water/nada there....but one nice cove to snorkel at :-)

We looked at Pete's Camp back in January and February. Near the beach (but not near enough) were many palapas, yes, but did they have electricity? The
few rigs there had generators proudly displayed, some ready to run directly under the permenant villas. I lliked the look of some aspects, but the
washboarded road for half a mile, and the long drive into town, the sites' aspect being quite a ways from the water, were non starters. We stayed at
Club la Pesca RV, the one to the south of the commercial area, with the sand dune behind it. It offers a well built concrete apron that allows a few
32' or so rigs to park easily. At the end of this apron when we came in were two 40' rigs that made it in, but barely. No sewage at these sites, but a
dump is provided about 100 yds towards the dunes. The clubhouse has a small store, pool tables, television. There are showers we never looked at.
About ten palapas also shared the concrete, very suitable for smaller rigs or tents. Wifi at the club house. Like a lot of things in San Felipe, Club
Pesca was for sale.
