Are inflatable SUP's any good?

I'm looking for a board to fish from, explore calm waters and ride waves up to waist high.

I have no experience with SUP, Just looks fun and the Nat Geo guys got me curious.

Is it asking too much for a board to ride waves and explore?

Are some brands of inflatables better than others? Can you suggest a model. I'm 5" 11" 205 lbs and have good upper body strength. I swim laps regularly.

Please share your thoughts (from firsthand experience).

Thanks

Inflatable Paddle Boards

I have a 10 ft epoxy you could try at the bahia on the san diego bay. Message me and we can work out the details. This is a very fun deal that takes minimal instruction.

Do you have a photo or link for this? You're a bit vague with your description.

John, thanks for the offer. I may hit you up in a couple weeks.

Mono, this is what I'm talkin about. A little research revealed the Uli has a pretty good reputation.
