Apologies, for being unclear. I was referring to Don Jorge's post above.

Now raining at about a half inch an hour.........strong winds continuing.

Enough daylight in a half hour to check the damage.

That's a lotta rain for December, in these parts. It wouldnt even be noticed in the traditional monsoon months.

Clouds continuing for a few days. Now, the worry becomes the various plant mildews that we almost never see here, with the moisture on the plants.

Gotta get the coffee maker going before we lose power! It has flickered a couple times.

Weather report from Up North.

-18F, another blizzard coming, ducks/geese are a faint memory, and deer are wanting to come inside. Canadians have overrun the border heading for the southland.

Conditions became intolerable.....had everything winterized and packed salmon gear.

Now heading west....but, the snow's getting deeper, wolves drawing closer....fear navigator drinks.

I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

Just stopped raining in San Marcos, the Internet says we only got 0.8" from this storm... but it seems more, as it has been raining light but steady 48 hours, since Tuesday morning.

Just checked more weather sites, and since the storm hit, the total measured rainfall here is as stated and was less than 1". The TV weather predicted 1-3 inches.

The good part is that it was a slow soaking rain.
