Just For The Record (ACV And Tire Shipments)

Good Afternoon Mr. xxxx(edited for privacy)

We do apologize for the mistake, at the time when you contact us customs did inform us that we can not transport any tires. They remove this 48 hrs later we try to contact you to inform you of the new policy, unfortunately the number on our caller id did not go thru.

We do apologize for the situacion, ACV always tries to help their customers on their shipment´s but we do have to obey certain rules.

If you give us a change, we gladly can ship out your items.

If you have any further question, please, don't hesitate, to contact us

Thank you, have a great day

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These folks treated me start to finish very well. Their product package states a 30% over invoice handling fee. For whom whose fingertips find the letter b and the letter s far too easily on their keyboard I welcome them to call and verify this. The intent here is not to argue but to provide information to those folks who need accurate information. When something I write needs to be amended, I do not hesitate to correct it.

I've used ACV before and they were very responsive and courteous. Stuff got to where I needed it when I needed it, for the price I was quoted.

As I understand it unmounted tires are a resticted item. Good luck with your dilemma.

Funny...My set of 4 bf goodrich 33"x12.5" x 16.5" tires are sitting in ACV's cabo san lucas warehouse right now. Cost was $250 total. I would have got them today, but I got in a dirt bike wreck that left me hurtin'....laid up a few days with a bruised sternum.

Shipping time was less than a week once they arrived in san diego. They ship quad tires too. Buddy had some shipped a few weeks ago.

I have been talking with Acv all day via email. I just directed her to this forum.

Acv service and speed is awesome...and yes they do ship tires. If you have any doubts email them on a personal basis.

Ouch!
You're 'sposed to ride that bike on dirt, not eat the dirt you're ridin' on, kiddo.
Rest up and stay in the shade for awhile.
We know you'll be back on the bike soonest.

Good idea. Veronica's right-on it and a good PR person for ACV Shippers.
Be sure she sees the "other" thread, too.

I've shipped everything imaginable through ACV. ceiling fans, a 14 KW generator, plumbing fixtures, a wine cooler- which they returned for me to San Diego when it didn't work. Great folks.

The word is whoMever...to appease your sensibility of perfect English grammar.

Therefore ANGELICA is not qualified to quote, nor represent ACV company even though she answers the telephone and emails?

Curiosity overwhelms me...
