License Plate Bingo?

Stephanie - you mentioned License Plate Bingo in one of your posts on Fred's board. Please tell me how it works?

Many ways to play....

The most common way to play is looking for who can see the most plates from different states. You can also compete to see who can find all the letters of the alphabet in the first letters of the plate. This can be required in ABC order or done at random. All kinds of variations abound. You can also make a bingo board (or just a list), of landmarks of all kinds (from purple volkswagons to church steeples to a man on a donkey), and compete to see who can find the most things on the list. If you're really interested, there are a number of good books out at children's book stores with loads of travel games. But like I said in the post on Fred's board, when it comes down to brass tacks, I prefer videos for the kids. They quiet down completely and I'm able to better keep my mind on the road. - Stephanie
