Sharkey's/Bajamama's

We moved to Cantu w 2 weeks ago and are just getting settled in,
and loving it. Stopped in to Sharkey's and talked with the owner and I'll b playing music in the bar/rest. every other Friday night starting next Friday night. Played a few tonight and it went well. Loving livin' in Baja even if not quite as retired as I thought I'd be. Most of my music is old time country, belt buckle polishing stuff, strictly acoustic and not too loud, so if that's what you like stop on down and say Hi.

Glade you made the move and like the area

Would be delighted to stop in and listen for a spell, but can't handle the second hand smoke.

If you play at any other local venues, let me know

Why are you not as retired as you'd like?

Not quite as retired as I'd like just because I still have lots to before I can fully relax, but I'm getting there. Rented the house completely unfurnished, had no furniture. So far I've bought a tv, recliner, couch, and a picnic table to use for dining area. Still sleeping on an air mattress, so kinda roughing it a little but getting there slow but sure. Bought a stove, but still no sink or cabinets in kitchen. I'm guessing another 2-3 months and I can relax.

Yeah, We have the fridge but the microwave is something for another day. I'm prioritizing and putting a bed high above the microwave on my list. Only to keep Merry happy, my dad told me as a young man that we must keep the women happy or we'll never be happy.
