The wind picked up here last night around 12:30am, then rain, at times very heavy, during the night. It has just started raining again here (La Aguja
10:40am) - very lightly - pretty much straight down, not much wind to speak of. Mula, you may be seeing this in a hour or 2....

OH NOOOO, that is awful about the cave paintings, such a sacred piece of history. I am sooo thankful I saw them this past Spring, but so sad that
others in the future will not be able to partake in such an important piece of tribal history.
Mother Nature can be so darn cruel at times, UGH!

Talked with friends in Mulege a little after 9 this morning... Things were wet and muddy but no flood at that time... even tho it was raining
still...
We have not seen any updates since then and we can only hope no news is good news but it seems to work the opposite...
looking at the Sat. coverage there have been big waves of rain all up and down the BAJA all day...
Can only hope all of them are out of harms way....

Mtnpop..Mulege is fine. Rain stopped around 8, no flooding, roads are muddy, but all passable. Everyone relaxed once the mtn ranchos reported no mtn
rains. See my post above.
I`m leaving everything packed and ready to evacuate, just in case this next storms get strong.

Glad you guys made out safe. Like some weather models predicted "most of the action would pass to the south and go east". Loreto got hammered.
I do NOT trust the existing event coming up the coast at the moment. Let's hope the coriolis effect over rides the steering currents and blows this
thing inland near Puerto Vallarta. If it comes north and hugs the coast it's going to have 30C water to feed and bathe in. There is a chance this
critter can get hair on its chest. Another huge dump of rain on already saturated ground can terrorize roads, trails and highways. IMHO Keep an eye on
the National Hurricane Center website.

After last nights wind reports from Todos Santos, we decided to cover the windows this time...the wind has just now picked up at 7 pm but the sky has
cleared and looks like Juliette is offshore of us now...maybe....or has yet to arrive...how are things in Abreojos?
Here I am stressed out about the coming storm...hahahahaha! It's really muggy today

Wow, what a night in Todos Santos! Town looks like a war zone. Electricity finally came on at 6pm. It was a violent, damaging south wind. The rain was
not a problem
Our palapa over the garage took flight and landed 80 yards away. So lucky it didnt hit ours or someone elses house or a car. That thing must weigh
800+pounds. I still cant find the bathroom skylight. Lots of roof tiles gone and the recycling is at the bottom of the pool. The plants all look like
they went 12 rounds with Tyson. Loks like a loooong cleanup weeked ahead. On the bright side a turtle laid 129 eggs in a nest out front and the waves
were firing!

WOW what a great attitude! Congrats to that turtle and may the eggs all hatch and the babies make it back to the sea.
May you find that skylight. Mother nature rules and is so unpredictable.
