Just have to figure out who might bring it down for me and where to have it sent!!!!
Maybe internet coming - sooner than later.
Don't forget tomorrow is Saturday in Lopez - my favorite day. . . Gorditas at the market for breakfast, Rajas Tamales for lunch and dinner at Norma's.

Thanks....the beach ride sounds inviting....depending on the tides ....and muck/quicksand...are you saying I could ride over?
As I have camping capacity, maybe I could tent overnight and watch the tide???

No, you can not ride over to Madgalena Island. You would borrow our 4 wheelie and take it over in a panga and use it there. You can camp and
explore.
And if you really get into the island thing - you could go to Santa Domingo Island just to the north of Mag. Island.
It's dunes, mangroves and really interesting desert to the ocean type of terrain.

motoged I respect your respect for the bike. You'd be on
packed beach near enough the water, bike would melt out from under you. However, my style would be to have Mula hook me up with the lobstermen, leave
the bike at Mula's, and enjoy the journey.
Meanwhile, indian art comes to mind. Doves, to the south of the Lopez road. Mula is, your remarkable guide.
And, Lobster and such, should be server.
And, I get to be on Cher's trip!
(Cher I'll be using "the Antennae" in Rosarito. Talk over the campfire.)

Thanks for a wonderful stay. Now that I'm back in Florida, I can begin to update my travel blog / trip report. Internet was spotty and I had little
time since leaving you to update. But I've uploaded all files and simply need to link & write from here on.
I wish we'd had a few minutes to go see the casita. But your home/guest room was awesome.
And, guys, if you use the hard-connection at Mula's house, everything works fine. That's what I did when I 'lost' my power cord and needed Mula's
assist.
Another thing, Mula, your hooking me up with Brandon in Loreto worked out great, even though I didn't meet him for the power supply. Easy to find, I
got with his family, they had the power supply and it worked! Worth the US$50. Could he/they perhaps hook you up with the WiFi extender device?? Would
it work over 1 Km?? Just a thought.

Certainly no internet techies in Lopez. We barely have internet here.

I will when msteve1014 and wife check out in a day or two.
Were just finishing it up when they arrived. . . you know - Mexico - nothing gets done on time.
Nothing as spicy and nice as Shari's and Blancas in Asuncion.
Kind of rustic. But that is the Comondu's and the Sierra Gigantes.

Jim,
I just got back from 200KM 5 days on the trail with my mule from Mulege to San Javier.
Am hot dirty and bone weary. Go to the local police station and ask for directions to Ls Senora con las mulas and they will bring you to my main
house. That's what msteve1014 did.
I'll post better directions later when I figure it all out.

Yeah, me too. We are beat, bone weary and dirty. But what a spectacular time.
200 KM in 5 days - 3 mules and rides and my husband driving the camp truck.
Bajacalifornian's cameras have given up the ghost on him, so my bad photography is all you will get.
Maybe tomorrow. And maybe tomorrow pictures of the Lote 8 Guest House.

More Photos of the Casita.
This is a work in process.
1st a new Toilet - oval and high.
Then a new bathroom vanity and kitchen sink.
It has a 2 burner propane stove top for now with an Oster Toaster Oven, but will eventually have an electric stove top or an apartment size electric
oven and stove.
The kitchen lower cupboards will have Sunbrella Baja Colors curtains for covering.
And shower enclosure - probably glass blocks with a door.
The patio will have a BBQ of bricks a sink and there will be a palapa around the front and back end of the house.
Nothing snazzy. A photographer and interior designer, I am not.
The couch is a fold out sofa bed with a brand new mattress. Queen sized also, I think. . So 2 beds in the place, now.
There will be a patate door into the bathroom.
Looking into the bedroom area from the living area. No door yet. Have to figure that out.
Looking from the bedroom area to the living area.
A little fuzzy - don't know why. . . but the bedroom.
Bathroom
The washing machine will go when the oudoor chairs and the basket is.
The casita from the back with a big door in to the bathroom.
Patio area with a yard light and water spigot.
Side and front of the Casita. It is on a corner lot and 1 block from the estero.

I ordered the antenna/ It is not here yet from the states.
Should be here in another week or so and then will be trying to hook it up, but the wireless router is in San Nicolas, so I have to go there to get
it.
Hope to have it set up by the 1st of the year or so.
Still lots of little things to do over there, but - a work in progress - might as well be enjoyed!

Your casita looks really nice! But being able to stay with you at your home was also a really nice experience. Thank you again. I've been "off the
radar" with family issues since returning home, and working hard. But going to finish posting the trip report during the next few days.
I know, I know ... 4+ weeks behind.
