Back in the late 60's, it is what we used for sunscreen.
And if you forgot to use it, as an after-burn soother.

But since the mid seventies, turtle products have become taboo with myself.

Wasn't it his? If not, I agree.

The choice of motor home on cover is minor criticism. Most of you totally missed that map on cover is Northern California, wtf?

Will someone with book tell us who is credited for cover art work? Who is publisher?

It seems to be a standard cover for use by any similar travel book? It is published by Xlibris, which is a self-publishing company... and that exlplains the generic cover perhaps... or Froy just didn't realize it was a motorhome with a northern California background map? The back cover shows the back of a camper on a dirt road... Only issue is Froy never mentioned having a camper.

In any case, you can't judge a book by its cover and that is true here. It is dozens of trips into Baja, many are back packing hikes in the San Pedro Martir. A couple include mainland Mexico trips... all interesting to read as Froy provides details in his notations on many things.

In the near end of the book, another Nomad is mentioned (by his real name)... It is 'rockman' (last post on Nomad: http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=61340 )
