Mexico moans that everything we do to protect our border is disrespectful to a good neighbor policy......especially when the term "militarization" is

I'm not carrying any water for the Mexican government, by the way. I've seen little in my 44 years of occasional visits that might help me tell their
government from a criminal conspiracy. But things aren't exactly hunky dory around here either.
And before someone starts tuning up about me being brown skinned or something. I'm a seventy year old Scots-Irish trouble maker who is still peeed at
the brits. My ancestors were driven out of Scotland and settled in Northern Ireland to try to inflict civilization on the Irish. From there they
drifted to West Virginia and they've been working their way across the nation every since, selling used cars, riding choppers and leaning on things.
Read 'Barn Burning' or 'A Walk on the Wild Side' for an idea who we really are. It's in our genes.
The Mexicans in my neighborhood are the hardest working people around. They put more into our tax coffers than they can ever get back. No papers? No
tax refund. Every one of us except the first nation/indians was a looser somewhere and ended up here. And maybe them too. No wonder the whole world is
afraid of us. A bunch of well armed culture-less losers with a drinking problem.
O.K., I'll go quietly. Let the flames commence.

Forming groups, cultures, countries, borders, and tribes seems to be in our nature as homo sapiens. We divide each other into groups and dehumanize
one another all the time. I think this has been going on for 150,000 years. Ok, maybe not 150,000 years exactly, but you get my point.
I think it's good to remember we're all in this together. We all share the same origin. We all came from Africa. We're all on the same team.

operating drones is expensive. On the other hand the US has tens of thousands air dispensed mines that have
to be disposed of and what better place then the DMZ you spoke of. Even if they were inert would anyone want to cross a posted mine field. Signs are
cheap but of course they need to be in Spanish.

I think they made this cartoon to show how the Feds are helping Arizona enforce their border and direct illegals to cross there.
