The 1st Annual Baja Latin Music Festival in San Felipe

A celebration of Latin music, dance and food

The Baja Good Life Club is proud to announce the 1st Annual Baja Latino Fest in San Felipe, Baja California on Saturday, February 15th from 11AM-5PM. The event will be held at La Ventana del Mar Resort (http://www.laventanadelmar.com/), a beautiful world class resort located on the beach of the gorgeous Sea of Cortez.

The Baja Latino Fest promoters and sponsors expect the event to become a regional tradition for celebrating Latin music, dance and food. The concert celebration will feature non-stop entertainment from a large variety of incredible Latino musical guests and professional Latin dance performances throughout this 6-hour event.

The musical lineup will include international recording and performing artist from Mexico, United States, Argentina, and Canada. Tesoro from Tuscon Arizona will be in San Felipe to headline the festival. After the success of producing two live albums and more than 100 concerts a year, they will amaze the San Felipe audience. Tesoro is known not only for their musical talent and ability to play a number of different styles, but also for their strong stage performance, ensuring that every show is a truly unique and memorable experience.

Tesoro will be joined by several other international recording artists, including the Rio Samaya Band, most well known for the fact that every one of their performances are completely unscripted, so absolutely anything can happen. Rio Samaya have performed throughout the world including China, Africa, Indian, as well as all of Europe and Latin America.

Additionally, the very popular Latin jazz band Quid Pro Quo from Mexicali will be sharing their diverse beauty of jazz with San Felipe, performing all types of jazz ranging from Latin and classical. Also performing is the hot new musical artist Ruby Clouds from Los Angeles. Ruby is fast becoming a Latin sensation in Southern California with her Latin rock, alternative and rhythm and blues sound. Finally, representing San Felipe, the multiple "Best of Baja" winners Agave Band will be performing their virtuoso Latin rock.

All of these incredible groups is only a portion of the event. The event will also feature professional Latin dance performance of Salsa, Rumba, Mambo, Cha Cha, Flamenco and others, along with non-stop dancing on our dance floor. In addition to the music and dance, there will be Latin food from around the world, featuring an Argentinian BBQ. And, as if the music, dance and food was not enough, there will also be many Mexican artisans, and exhibitor booths for collectibles and gifts to take home.

An excited John Pack, one of the promoters from the Baja Good Life Club has said, "San Felipe is a small town with lots of sound, and they love music and having a good time, this makes San Felipe the perfect place for a celebration of Latin music, dance and food."
