Border Crossing / Baja Officials Requirements

Hi Doug (Administrator / Board Owner)...

I was wondering if there was interest in a Folder that contained current information (e.g. from Forum posters recent travel experience) on what the Mex. Customs agents are searching for and what they are requiring those heading South to do to comply? And maybe info passed on about govt. fees that are now being charged in towns (e.g. launch, docking, camping, dump, etc.) that may have changed.

For example... I just read that Mex. Customs are now checking on unattached Outboard Motors for registration.
Also in the past if I brought down 5 gal. gas cans and if they were full they would levy a fee. So now I bring them empty.

It would be nice if this information were centralized in a folder one could go to. What do you think?

Thanks
