Fonature

From what Mija tells me, Puerto Escondido is almost a "ghost port". The fees that Fonature is trying to charge the yachters for anchoring in the harbor have sent them all away or at the least to the "waiting room". With the Tripui fire and Fonatures high fees, it is almost a ghost port. The internet cafe is closed and gutted,(El Fuerte office also) and Willy's store, that has supplied many with fresh vegis and stuff you could'nt even find in town, seems to be history also. Damn the Fonature for this one, IMHO!!:fire::fire:

Sally, when did this happen? Where is El Fuerte's office now? Is your daughter a full time mommy now? Seems like she just got that business going (Internet Cafe)?

Hi David!

Just recently, they cleared out of Puerto Escondido. There is no business since Tripui burnt down and Fonature forced all the yaughties out with their high rents. The El Fuerte is being managed out of their home office in Nopolo.Yes, Juanita is a full time Mommy now but also manages the "business" side of the charter biz.BTW, did you see her pic on the cover(one of several others) on the WON mag? I saw it yesterday at Mom and Dads house.Nice magazine! Have a great Holiday, Sally
