The Party Lives Forever and the memory of Beach Bob will never die!

I think this photo taken by Bedman on Dec. 31, 2001 is my favorite of Beach Bob...

Give 'em Hell, Bob!

Ok...
Good stereo...check
Good beer cooler...check
Decent generator...check

Since everything is gone from the house, I need to find some furnishings.

Libby-Looking forward to having you as a neighbor and developing a long lasting friendship.

Doug-Fun summer indeed. I should be down there around the same time.

Thanks, Connie and woody. Actually he passed quite a while ago. He wanted his ashes scattered but I hadn't decided where until recently.

By the way, pretty cool shirts, woody.

Just returned home and peeked in ur windows while I was there. The tiled floor will look great! That's exactly what I thought u needed when I looked inside. And furniture! That's a pretty big room to fill. I really had a difficult time leaving. Ready to spend MUCH more time south. Decided to head down the thurs before memorial day for 16 days. that should help! The nice thing about a little separation (BB casa from Gecko) is the stereo can crank the tunes without peeing off the neighbors! Sometimes I have to keep it mellow to keep people happy. see ya.

Update - The place is really coming along. Installed a nice solar system, with a huge amount of help from Larry C. I couldn't have done it without him. New appliances and furniture. A new water tank and other misc. stuff. I will add some photos at a later date.

And Woody... still waiting for that house warming gift you promised. lol

Hi Bob,
did you ever hear the story about Beach Bob discovering a dead horse in his pila? Larry C or Bedman can fill you in. As I'm sure you've heard, there's been some crazy stuff happen there.
Might be down first of October and will stop by.
Jim

I never heard of a dead horse in Bob's pila. His pila was an underground pila so I can't imagine how a horse could get into there. It would have to be a really thirsty horse. I guess where there is a will there is a way.

On second thought, it seems that I do remember something about a horse falling through the roof of the pila, I think it was only one leg that went into the pit and not the whole horse. Hard to remember 'cause there are so many Beach Bob stories.

It seems like BB's place was ready to go. Why did you have to get a new solar, pila etc.? Did the Diaz's abscond with it?

Beach Bob left everything to Ponsonia. There was nothing left when I got the place. The pila was nasty so it will just be used for watering plants, hosing off the boat, etc.

And everyones definition of a solar system is different. The old beach bob's solar system was pretty basic. The new solar system will run a full size elec refrigerator, TV, computer, internet system, and lights no problem.
