Boiling water

First, pour water into pan.
Next, put pan of water onto stove burner.
Then, turn burner on the high position.
When water starts to boil, you are done.

Oddly enough, my ex couldn't even do that right.

Next week's recipe will be "How to make an ice cube".

We have a special stand-alone machine that makes the magic ice - I have no idea how it does it but it's awesome!

Technically all it does is remove the heat from the water you boiled and it turns into an ice cube. http://forums.bajanomad.com/images/smilies/yes.gif
Now if the ice goes to gaseous mode instead of going to water first that's called "sublimation'. So, there is your word for the day- can we all say- sublimation? Going from a solid to a gas without becoming a liquid first is kinda like eating beans for dinner :-) :-)

Osprey,

Please write something soon. We miss your stories. Nomads has degenerated into threads like this and Gypsy Jan's discourses on her pets' personalities.

Actually, not retired. Own and operate a sheet metal fabrication company in Escondido. I just get bored. Been doing this for too long. 2 more years!

Then I can start writing my "How to cook book". lol

A lot of Baja connections in Escondido... Ames Color Studios made a small Baja wall map with photos around it... Cliff Cross made the great Baja Guide of 1970... I published my first two books on Baja while living and going to high school there (Orange Glen)... Off Road racers of the 1970's as well came from Escondido! Heck, the world famous Ranch Dressing ('Hidden Valley') was created in the hills above Escondido off Guejito Road, near Lake Wohlford! Memories... :light:

I lived above and just northeast of Escondido, at Lake Wohlford from 1970 to 1994. Went to Valley Center for Jr. High (7th and 8th grade)... long bus ride!
