Adding photos?

I have been trying to add links to photos posted on my Facebook page. Can someone advise me what I'm doing wrong? (besides spending too much time on Facebook   )

Here's the links I'm trying to share (whale images)

Surface:

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10202282922408573&am...

and

Underwater:

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10202266664762142&am...

Anyone? What do I need to do besides embed these URLs (tried below)?

Thanks!

I don't have any idea why Facebook images don't appear when you add the IMG tags to them... That is something for Baja Nomad himself to explain.

All I can tell you is how to use Photobucket (free) and upload to there (at 800 pixels max please) and then post those images right here, on Nomad.

I show how in the first post on the Nomad Photo Gallery Forum.

The links you're using are to web pages, not images. The images on those pages are embedded - and have their own URL (address). Thus, the actual image addresses for the main image on those two pages are:

https://scontent-b-sjc.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn2/t1.0-9/9836...

https://scontent-b-sjc.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/t1.0-9/1619...

Since both of these images are more than 800 pixels in width, it helps some people see them better if you adjust them to 800 pixels wide. The first image is 960px x 649px. If it's adjusted to 800px width, then proportionately the height would be 541px. So, you'd use the BB Code of "img=800x541".

The second image is 960x717. To adjust to 800px width, the height would be 597px. So, BB Code would be "img=800x597".

Thus the result of this would be the following:

Right click 'Copy Image URL' is your friend for this sort of thing.
