Clam Beach RV Resort

Hi Fellow Nomads,

Has anybody stayed at the new R.V.Park called Clam Beach RV Resort? It is between Rosarito Beach and Ensenada, actually about a 5 minute drive south of La Mision just off of HWY 1. We are planning to check it out this summer. We are wondering if the conditions for surfing (actually, boogie boarding) are as good or close to good as they are at the La Fonda surf break in La Mision. Also anything else anyone who has actually stayed there might have to say about it. It looks clean and beautiful.
Thanks!
Maron

Thanks for your helpful replies, folks. Glad to know the beach is good, but I guess we didn't realize the road is still closed. Is there any other way to get there, like the Free Road? Or have you heard any news on when the road will be repaired in that area?

Thanks again, I already love this site!

no you can still drive to it (unless you're coming from ensenada) no problem.

I should have mentioned that we are in Fullerton (Southern California). So we'd be heading south, normally on Hwy 1.

Sorry about the post in triplicate! I'm a newbie and just getting used to the site. It didn't react right away when I hit 'post reply' so I kept hitting it.

you'll get off the toll road at Alisitos(la fonda) but get right back on the toll road to your resort. stand by for pictures from outer space, highway widths, number of botts dots, a history of the missionary's, global warming effects, all the pertinents!
