Great Seafood Place in San Quintin-- La Barca

Been going to La Barca in San Quintin for about a year and a half now.

Great ceviche! It's da bomb!

The 7 seas soup is to die for and loaded with seafood.

All the other dishes are great also... shrimp dishes, the usual shrimp c-cktails, and many other seafood standards--- its all great and average prices.

They let you bring in your own alcohol if you wish...

the wifey told me to get rid of the Sailfish mount in our office.... so I asked the owner if he would wish to have the mount on his wall. He said yes and the rest is history. I will be able to see my mount every time I visit there right over the window to the kitchen!

La Barca is on the East side of the road 500 yards north of the Federal Police station

Try it you will like it!

Alan from San Diego

Absolutely a must if you're passing through San Quintin. Great food and a very clean place to eat! My wife loves the Ceviche! (They have their fish specially fine ground ) The owner was partners in the Palapa north of town for years and finally opened his own place. DawnPatrol, thanks for the Sailfish - we wondered from who and where it came from.

I believe we have seen some Rave Reviews of this restaurante before, Myself, I have never had the chance to sample the cuisine here, I am usually farther south for the nite, Looking forward to an adventure of good seafood ! Cielito usually draws me in or La Turista for the nite. Thanks for the advice. Tio
