Stay off the Dunes. Lot's of low tide beach but don;t tear up the sand and beautiful dunes in the area. Inland areas are endless. Respect the Naturaleza. I know you will. Tio

Good call Tio. Tons of empty riding trails/roads north of Cabras. Just head out north and follow the road. This is part of the Baja 1000 course. Have fun.

Sorry for all the photos............but this was once my go to place as a kid. I think I may have taken a substance and camped on the cliffs, on my journey in my early twenties. My best friend and I had a discussion to end all discussions while scavenging the ash tray for pieces of tobacco to roll into cigarettes here, back when I smoked. I even had my bachelor party here. Didn't even surf. Just caught snakes and swam in the ocean.

Perfect, Perfect, Perfecto. Thanks for the pics. I will take some too. I am into roads and will have my 3 bikes with my 15 yr old son and a girlfriend who are both beginners so it will be a great time. I don't do dunes on a 2 wheeler.

Ateo, absolutely stellar pics. I met a guy that has a house on Pta. Cabra somewhere, now I can see why. Also, the smiles on your kids' faces tell it all; the Vida Buena en Baja. Even with the 'west coast chill' they are two genuine grins of pure joy.
Thanks for sharing.

We called it K181 in the late sixties. We luckily found the turnoff from Hwy 1 and drove in for a look. In the eighties a few friends started going back there and it hadn't changed at all. Safe and friendly locals. Then we discovered the beauty of BCS. A special area--real Baja. Enjoy. Tio
