Walnut Grove

South of La Barca at the far South end of Rosarito on the beach side sits a stand alone sit down restaurant with some of the better regional specialties prepared in town. In the opinion of the owner of el Pandita and in my opinion, there is not much actual Mexican cooking in Rosarito. It's all taco shops.
It is nice to catch a break at Walnut Grove. The menu is too extensive so after my usual inquiry of 'what do you recommend', I get directed to the prepared table out front. The beef with potato ranchero and huevos con chili verde oaxaca style are both excellent as is the salsa selection for a refreshing change.

We have noticed a Walnut Grove jr, just south of Tanpano steak house and the oxoxox store. Is that that place you ate at? We are new to Rosarito and are anxious to try new and good places.

Thanks for the feedback. We will try it soon. Or you full time, weekend or? We have a place near there.
