I'm on my way down! National Weather Service forecast calls for super long period, should wrap into those points nicely!

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN DIEGO CA
130 PM PDT TUE JUL 1 2014

...ELEVATED SURF AND STRONG RIP CURRENTS THIS WEEKEND...

.A 3 TO 4 FOOT SOUTH SWELL WITH A 20 TO 23 SECOND PERIOD WILL
CREATE ELEVATED SURF AND STRONG RIP CURRENTS ALONG SAN DIEGO
COUNTY AND ORANGE COUNTY BEACHES THIS WEEKEND. HIGHEST SURF AND
STRONGEST RIP CURRENTS WILL BE ALONG SOUTH-FACING
BEACHES...MAINLY NORTH OF DEL MAR. STRONG LONG-SHORE CURRENTS WILL
ALSO DEVELOP ALONG PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN SAN DIEGO COUNTY.
CONDITIONS WILL BEGIN TO IMPROVE EARLY TO MID NEXT WEEK.

* SURF...3 TO 4 FEET FRIDAY AND SATURDAY...RISING TO 4 TO 6 FEET
SUNDAY AND MONDAY...WITH LOCAL SETS TO 7 FEET. HIGHEST SURF ON
SOUTHERLY FACING BEACHES.

* TIMING...LATE THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY EVENING.

* IMPACTS...ELEVATED SURF AND STRONG RIP AND LONG SHORE CURRENTS
WILL RESULT IN DANGEROUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY FOR

Surf is building here....getting excited to dry rub my meat for Friday...two racks of ribs slow cooked over mesquite....lots of tasty San Diego beer and some of my wife's famous Mac and cheese.
