The mighty '72 Yota never failed to deliver, within reason! It died beautifully in the Baja Sun after many excursions.

Here's my rig 97 powerstroke with a few mods. Brought it site unseen in Oregon on craigslist and drove straight down Baja in 2010. Every year since. Gets 15mpg loaded

'01 Dodge Cummins, stock. '86 Lance, '76 Chevy 'Heavy Half' trailer 3500# axle, electric brakes, four shocks, 16" wheels. '98 Wolverine 350. Vintage Manta twin landsailer converted to a single. Bought it all used for cash! Works pretty well. Bahia de Los Angeles fishin' with Woody.

My wife and I did a 10 day camping trip in our beloved Subaru Impreza almost 2 years ago. I prepped it with lifted suspension from a Forester, skid plates, 27" all terrain tires, and the roof rack. It was perfect even on some seriously rough roads and soft sand.

Definitely different than the HIDs - this is a Rigid 40" LED which throws a boatload of retina-burning light. Uses very little electricity and produces almost no heat.
