Let me know if we need a forum here for such. Also, if there's a group (Club Cruceros?) that doesn't have a forum area, but could use one, we would consider hosting that among all the other forums here too.

The group would have to be Baja-specific, and have someone responsible to help monitor their forum (to the same - or similar - rules of the present forums).

Regards,

Club Cruceros

Bruce, I stumbled across the web site for the Club Cruceros de La Paz over a month ago, of interest to us because of our recent visit to La Paz, relatives who have lived on a cruising sailboat for 15 years, and equally if not more important, the charities they appear to be involved in. The Cruceros support school music programs in La Paz, and because my wife and I have been active volunteers in various school music programs, we have been rounding up some instruments to dontate when we next visit BCS (hopefully, early next year). Feliz navidad y prospero ano nuevo - Estuarte.

Web Cruising sites specific to Sea of Cortez

This site is not only for trailer sailors, just started out that way. Of all the sites mentioned, the participants have the most information relative to sailing/cruising the SOC. Other sites generally have info for/by sailors passing through on their way somewhere else. There is a large cruising community here in La Paz and SSB radio keeps everyone in touch throughout the SOC. Escondido used to have a large group of cruisers, but gov't fees has changed that. There are many, many full time cruisers in the Sea, but lacking internet connections do not contribute to a forum. SSB nets abound with notices, info, weather, etc. daily.
