That didn't take long. The children are out on the playground already. Wonder how long this post will run before the kids grow tired of it and it fades into oblivion.

Coffee... the elixir of the gods -- and myself but it's gotta be caffeinated or else!
Fresh ground with a touch of chocolate added equals Good Medicine, this.

SHEEPHERDER COFFEE:
one large black pot full of settled-water from the crick (creek) pulled the nite before and covered for bugs
1 heaping sierra cup of Folgers (the ONLY thing a sierra cup is good for)

bring water to boil
pull from fire, place coffee into pot with a good sprinkle of salt on grounds
replace pot on fire, stand guard until coffee RINGS AND FOLDS but DOES NOT BOIL
Remove, let stand 5 minutes
Pour one more sierra cup of COLD water slowly over the mud to settle the grounds

Serve with:
Home-made or store-bought Irish Crème (i'll u2u my recipe for "Jump Start" Irish Crème)

splotch of El Presidente Brandy, 1/2 & 1/2 and whipping cream

Toothpaste (freshly on the dientes) & John Daniels

.... a le gusto? ahhhhh, SALUD!
