An Exciting Talented Artist Working Magic in Loreto!

We proudly report on the wonderful murals in the Atrium of the Municipal Palace in Loreto, representing legends, flora and fauna, characters in our history and the future children of Baja California Sur.....along with Jesuits and other colorful characters from the past.

Artist and teacher Alejandro Curiel worked for over a year to produce these stunning and beautiful works of art....

On your next visit here, be sure to enjoy what is making Loreto a "Pueblo Magico"...right in the heart of town, on our lovely zocalo, in the Municipal building.
A Cochimi Princess, so proud and full of life!

Iconic religious figures

Raven, olive, pithaya and fig.....1697

swirling hooves and mountains....such compelling artwork!

I've seen those paintings and often wondered what was the genesis behind them. They are beautiful and awesome. Thanks for posting.
