Air cooled VW parts / mechanics East cape The BCS

Anyone still running VW's down South? mostly wondering about parts availability and possibly mechanics preferably in the Los Barriles area. Might need parts and might have the engine rebuilt while down there if there's anyone who knows what they're doing.

A few rails and modified bugs around LB and there's a V Dub dealer between SJD and CSL.

A lot of VW here in LB & San Jose & LaPaz. I even sent my tranny to Ensenada by bus (bajapak) to have it rebuilt a few years ago.

Several aircooled oldschool competent vw wrenches here in town. High quality very reasonable referals available. U2U me.

There is a guy that sells only VW parts next to the Dupont paint store in San Jose a couple of hundred yards down from the Aramburo plaza.

Used to do a lot of work on a '93 Mexican bug. He always had what ever I needed.
