From what I've read, gas may not be available for days...

Reports From Todos Santos / Pescadero - We were able to get a storm report and photos from Todos Santos, courtesy of Alvaro Colindres' FaceBook Page:

Odile took it's toll on downtown Todos Santos. Carla's loncheria totally gone. The CFE building totally trashed. However CFE workers are mobilizing. Lots of Power polls down, and poles down along highway to LP. They say it will be at least a week without power. The Church seemed Untouched. Now, we begin the clean up and Rebuilding Process! More to follow....

I haven't heard from either one, but thanks for starting this thread. I'm planning to visit Todos Santos in late Feb / early March.

I'm really curious to hear anything about Pescadero/Cerritos as well. Our family has a house there and one person was at the house when the storm hit and the last communications we exchanged was 10:45 PM on Sunday.

I just heard from Ernesto, one of my Technician Friends in TS. He was able to get out on the Internet over TelCel a few minutes ago, about 12:30 PM their time. Internet comes and goes.

He reports it's a total freaking disaster there. No power, no water, little food, and the banks are obviously out of commissions so no money.

I'll post a few pix he sent but it's nothing we haven't already seen, destruction everywhere.

I'm going to try and relay some messages through him but he has his hands full right now taking care of his family.

Just got phone call from a friend in San Viciente area of TS. Army came by with food and water. No CFE trucks working in area as of yet. The place is a mess. Phone and internet off and on.

Posted this in main thread earlier:

Caretaker texted me on Monday afternoon the following re my casa on cerritos beach in Pescadero south of Todos Santos:

"Lost 6 big sliders, 4 solar panels. A good amount of fence (palo de arco) and lots of sand in the house. All gas stations and stores are badly damaged. There are electrical posts down everywhere (Todos and Pescadero). No major permanent damage to casa, just plenty of cleanup. There is a shell of a trailer in front and lots of junk".

He also said the mayan huts on cerritos beach next door...www.cerritossurfcolony.com..are damaged bad, lost some walls, windows and sliders and their pool must have at least a truck full of sand in it. Said they lost the big hut. Said beach is unusable...too much junk..metal, wood, plastic everywhere.

He said he'll take pictures when he can get his phone charged.

Guests decided to stay in casa against my instructions to evacuate. Fortunately they are fine. They said 2 waves made it into casa. :wow:

Just got a call. It sounds like the house made it through with just some broken solar panels and some shrubs missing. Oh and my brother has a little travel trailer there and the door decided to leave for parts unknown. Surprisingly the trailer didn't move though. No broken windows on the house either.
