Baja Calendars

Just received the "hot off the press" 2005 Baja Calendars from Marv Sherrill today... I'll have something up in the Tienda a.s.a.p.

Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

Tell me where to send my check!!!

Those calendars are great... and they help teach high school kids about dealing with life... thanks to Baja!

Each year, the senior class of Dana Hills High Marine Biology class attends a 'lab' at Bahia las Animas. They learn how life works both in the sea and real human experience, living off the sea and interacting with the local fishing camp people. Some of these kids have never left the city... They come back completly changed and appreciate life more, even offer to help mom and dad around the house for the first time!

I'm sitting here checking out the photos for the 2005 calendar, and they are again quite spectacular. The smaller pics on the back don't do the larger ones inside justice.

Cedros Island; Palm Canyon in Catavi?a; some amphibious fish I'd never seen before: Mudskippers; lots of different Rays; a pod of Pilot whales; Montevideo cave paintings; young Osprey from San Benito Island....

...very cool.

Just bought two from Doug today... They look great and have some interesting information on them. One is on my kitchen wall and the other is a gift for Elizabeth.
