this book doesn`t seem to be available as an ebook anymore. Did anyone save it as a pdf file that they would be willing to email me? THanks.

That's correct for books.google.com. On the left under the "get print book" button it says "No eBook available". Appears to be true for the pBook (paperBook or dead tree book) too.

Sadly, the eBook is not scanned at a higher resolution to easily read the maps...
