Many more details have come out in the last 24 hours. Warrants issued for the mayor and his wife, who are apparently on the lam.

Amazing that elements of the police force would actually open fire on the buses before the students even got off. Then they took one bus and apparently gave it over to some drug gang for disposal of the rest. Another case of the lines blurring between the local police and the drug gangs. FIFTY-THREE persons arrested so far.

They thought they had found some of them a few weeks ago-a mass grave with 27 in it. Testing results showed none of them were the missing students....so who was in that hole?

The problem with the cartel "its just business" thing is that once they've settled the issue of who does business where they usually start "taxing" the local businesses too-its never just a nice, quiet drug trade.
