La Paz.... Rosa's...Wrecking yard cuisine!

There is a wrecking yard west of La Paz (Yonke del BC) that is between the Hacienda del Mar motel and the Paradise motel. Rosa has an open air restaurant there that will surprise you.
I always wondered when I drove by, why there seemed to be a lot of Federal Police around there. The answer is that they have great, inexpensive food there! The staff is great, and would love to practice their English with you. As a bonus, if asked to, they will correct your Spanish.
They serve American and Mexican style breakfast, and if you get Juice, it will be fresh squeezed fruit of the day. They also have a lunch menu, but I think they will cook a traditional breakfast any time.
You are sitting just yards from the highway since the new pavement ate some of their parking area, but you won't leave hungry, and meals are about half the cost of the Paridise down the street, which is also very good!

Bonus tip....FM 95.9 plays a lot of gringo pop oldies, and who wouldn't want to hear songs like "I"m a Barbie girl" again?

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

More info on Rosa'as

I went to Rosa's this morning, and found out that they don't open early! Eight to eight thirty seems like opening time.
Also, the official name of the restaurant is Jalisco something, but the sign out on the road should say Rosa's if it is not blocked by a vehicle.
Again I say, Great food, very reasonable price!
