Hwy 1 to San Felipe

Has anyone driven across the road from HWY 1 to San Felipe since the hurricanes?
The road was bad before, but wondering how it is since the Hurricanes with all the rain. Would like to go home that way. Cuts a full day of travel off my trip. Any info would be much appreciated...thanks

Hwy.5: Mexicali to Hwy.1 at Laguna Chapala.

Hwy.3: Tecate to El Sauzal (near Ensenada) and
Ensenada to Hwy.5, 31 miles north of San Felipe.

As of last week, rough and slow from Hwy 1 to Coco's. Then fine to the new pavement though you'll be on construction detours until you hit the pavement. We passed 5 tractor trailers on the dirt part.

To Coco's was 20 minutes on motos. Maybe an hour or two on 4 wheels.

Highway 3 from Ensenada east to the Jct with Hwy 5 just north of San Felipe is in good shape. They have been doing repairs and repaving.

Highway 5 south to San Felipe from the Jct of Hwy 3 is in good shape
