Ensenada Restaurants
I am taking my kids and grandkids on a short Ensenada Cruise to rest after a few days in Disneyland. I would like to buy lunch in town and most of
the Restaurant info is a little dated. Any recommendations as we will not have a car? Or maybe I should ask, are there any places to stay away from?

I really can't recommend much in Ensenada, but here is a list of a few standard places that are within walking distance of the cruiseship terminal.
Birreria Guadalajara (Jalisco Style Birria) Open Daily, 7AM-8PM
Av. Macheros 154
(646) 174-0392
www.birrieriaguadalajara.com
Muelle Tres (Seafood/Baja Fusion) 1PM-7PM, Closed Mon. & Sun.
Teniente Azueta #187
(646) 174-0318
www.muelletres.com
Mariscos Bahia Ensenada (Baja Seafood) Daily, 10AM-10PM
207 Calle Riverol
(646) 178-1015
Or if all else fails, then you can eat at any of numerous seafood stands along the Mercado Negro (Fish Market). Try the baja-style fried Fish or
Shrimp Tacos!!

I don't think Muelles Tres wants kids. Excellent Seafood, but to capacity by mid afternoon.

If you can deal with standing and eating, either La Guerrerense (1st and Alvarado) for ceviche (maybe not so kid-friendly though), Tacos de Pescado
Los Originales (5th and Gastélum, next to El Águila store) for fish tacos.
If you want to sit, Muelle Tres (I've taken kids there, it's absolutely fine, don't worry about it) is your best bet for lunch. Manzanilla is fancier
and a little further of a hike but it's absolutely wonderful.

It's called Muelle Tres, not Tres Muelles. It is in the first building past the Mercado Negro as you walk along the boardwalk. If you were coming from
inland, you would walk straight down Miramar and cross the Costero (the coast road), then turn right at the water and it's the first building.

Tough choice because you are within walking distance of a crap load of good restaurants. I like a little place just across the Costera called Mi Kaza.
Not big on ambiance, but a big menu and a good value. Not to mention the food is really good.

Is El Charro still in business? I used to love to walk by and see the chickens on the spit at the front window. We always had a good meal there but it
has been awhile.
