The term enquiring minds originated from the Nation Enquirer, a right wing newspaper. The actual term is inquiring minds. The newspaper was doing a riff on their name. That said, seriously hope Udo is doing well.

Huh, it's a rag on the checkout lines at grocery stores (is it still being made?). Nothing right or left, it just a gossip paper. Yes, I used that spelling because of their commercial I recall from years ago... I mean, batboy lives, really?

Here is an update from today from Udo's sister Rhea.
"Today I am grateful to have a brother that is alive, continues to recover and for having a sister in-law that is so caring. As you know my brother went in for reconstructive surgery on the 11 of Nov. There have been many challenges this past week. This past Sunday he needed emergency surgery due to a serious infection in the abdominal area. Today things are looking better. Temperature is normal, blood pressure is normal and the kidneys are recuperating. Thank you all for your prayers and concerns. My brother is still very weak, continues to gain strength and slowly being weaned off the respirator. He will soon be able to update you. Thank you very much for your prayers."

Udo, sounds like things got tough for you the last while... soon you will be up and around enjoying life once again...may you recover quickly and completely!

Here is the latest update from Udo's sister who was by his side when we communicated. Udo's throat is still very raw so he can only whisper but he is getting stronger each day...indeed a survivor!

"Just a quick update. Today 11/29/14 my brother will be moved out of ICU to a step down wing due to his good progress. We are all very happy. His ventilator was removed and thus has a soar throat. He is not allowed to eat yet. Drs are very happy and we are elated. Jana is hanging in there. Thank you all for your concerns and prayers."

Lets hope you are ready to enjoy a nice Christmas dinner with your family...wishing you a speedy and full recovery amigo!
